I come from a dance background, with 15 years of training in a variety of styles. As I get older, I’m finding that classical styles like ballet prove to be a strain on my body. But I can do Zumba – in fact, anyone can! That’s the beauty of Zumba – you can up or lower the intensity, and modify the movements as you wish, all while having fun, making it a workout you can truly enjoy.
As a licensed Zumba Fitness instructor and a certified personal trainer, I believe strongly in personal health and want to show others that it’s possible to find a workout that’s effective and fun. I know how it is to want to get into shape but soon get bored of your workout, and begin to plateau. Zumba’s a great way to keep your workout fresh and fun, and the calories melt away with every class!
